Corné the best guide ever, she does this job with heart & soul, taking into account everybody’s needs and wishes, never losing an eye on the group atmosphere.

Kobus was an exceptional guide who gave us plenty of information on everything we were going to see. Went out is way to help everybody, book extra tours and so on best guide we’ve ever had 10/10. Kobus is a brilliant guide. Nothing was too much trouble. Work hard to give us a great time. Brilliant bloke

Pierre was excellent from the moment I met him. As a solo traveller he checked that all was ok regularly but I believe he did that for everyone. He was attentive, informative, extremely knowledgeable and very approachable. He always went above and beyond every day, making sure everything was perfect. When things were not so good he took control and did everything possible to try and make it right, even offering to get take away. The trips we took with Pierre were extremely well guided and flexible. I have travelled extensively and think that Pierre is one of the best guides I have had. He worked really hard to ensure everyone had the best experience.

Pierre is a very good tour guide. Very concerned about the travelers. He ensured that the suitcase left behind at the airport was returned to our possession. He provides a full explanation of all activities. 100% recommended.

Zeer grappige, zeer goed georganiseerde en geïnformeerde gids! Stond voor al onze vragen open!  Zorgde voor prachtige lunchadresjes!  Kwam bij ons aan tafel zitten zodat de reis ter plekke kon geavaluuerd worden en evt bijkomende vragen konden gesteld worden!  Wist op alles een oplossing! The tour as a whole was fantastic, the guide and driver were excellent, the range of activities was first class, and the enforced unfortunate changes to the itinerary were handled well, with decent compensation in the way of additional meals and activities. Other than that, it was a fantastic holiday from start to finish. (Chris van der Merwe)

Chris is Such an amazing person with plenty of local knowledge, always up for a chat which is very welcoming.  This kind of holiday can be made or ruined with the guild and myself and girlfriend loved Chris he definitely made us feel comfortable in South Africa with recommendations and advice.  Hopefully he continues what he's doing cause I think he's one of the best.  Thanks Chris for an amazing holiday.

Went above and beyond to cater to everyones needs and deal with some unrealistic expectations of some of the members of our tour group in a professional manner. Very informative and knowledge, providing the correct level of information and facts throughout the tour. Approachable and friendly, but also ensured the safety of the group was constantly monitored. Managed to bring together the entire group with a very varied age range. Professional and provided clear information on how to safely make to the best experience throughout the tour. Nick is a great advocate for touring in South Africa, we would definitely recommend him as a guide to anyone and use him again if we were lucky enough to have the opportunity. He would prove valuable in encouraging more of a younger demographic to the Newmarket tours.

Words cannot describe how good Nick was, nothing was too much trouble and he was an absolute credit to the country, province and profession. Any minor hiccups that occurred (none of which were Nicks fault) he'd do what ever he could to amend them. Flexible in his approach to do so. Nick was friendly with unbelievable knowledgeable, it was a genuine pleasure to share our holiday with him. A top guy, thanks for making our holiday such a special experience, Nick

Frans Groenewald is een geboren gids en een heel aangename verteller. Verdient meer dan 5 sterrren. Houdt rekening met de wensen en bezorgdheden van de groep, zoekt naar oplossingen en compromissen als activiteiten door bv. weersomstandigheden niet kunnen doorgaan (was beetje huzarenstuk voor onze groep want uitzonderlijk veel regen). Zo heeft hij voor ons geregeld dat we een ontmoeting met 3 olifanten hebben gehad (geweldig!!!).

Brilliant guide ! by most the best guide ever had. Frans is not only very knowledgeable about all aspects of SA and his habitants, but also an excellent facilitator of the team, taking care of everything, always in charge in order to make it a great experience for all participants. What a nice person ! an attitude to learn from !  we learned a lot ! please take care of him!

Couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Jaco was so passionate and enthusiastic about everything relating to his beloved country and that just carried through to the rest of the group and inspired us to make the very most of our holiday (although I now need another holiday to recover!). His local knowledge was invaluable, and he also was able to supplement a lot of the information provided by the local guides on the various excursions. Because of his attention to detail, he switched several of the trips around to maximise the time available -e.g. Table Mountain switched to early morning instead of afternoon which allowed us to view in the best possible circumstances. Loved the nightly braais where he and Corne entertained us – much better than being confined to our campers and making dinner for two. The braaibroodjies were a total success and the early morning breakfast on the viewing platform with the scrambled ostrich egg will live in my memory for ever. He was also very helpful with regards to topping up my mobile phone data and changing our tyre when we got a puncture, not to mention resolving the two minor reversing incidents. In summary he went above and beyond our expectations (and the fact that he is so easy on the eye was an added bonus for all us old women!!!) A++++++++

Jaco is a great tour guide, the best you can imagine. Not only to show us the different interesting sites in South Africa, also to explain about the culture and give us plenty of background information and to solve all issues that some guests have. He is always willing to answer supplementary questions clients have and knows how to communicate his love for the country to his group. Jaco managed to get a temporary passport in 4 hours time because one of the clients lost his passport on the day of departure. Jaco managed this situation with great calm, efficiency and know-how. Impressive!
